Insert standard ADHD
the story “here.”

My name is DC. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2nd grade. Even though I always felt different from everyone else, the role neurodivergence plays in my life wasn’t clear for a long time.

“He would be a model student if I could figure out how to make him pay attention.”
-most of my teachers.

No matter how hard I faked it, I never felt fulfilled by going to school.

Regular jobs feel a little like school. At first, I felt determined to become complacent in a routine environment, but I still wondered, “What is wrong with me!?”. It took me nearly three decades to feel compelled to learn about my ADHD.
As it turns out, knowing even a little about neurodivergence can take you a long way towards a better life.
